Please join us for a very special conversation with Josh Tickell, environmental thought leader and award winning director and author of Kiss the Ground. The event will explore ways Californians can come together and make both individual and collective change for a more sustainable future. Plan to join us Thursday, April 22 (Earth Day), 2021 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Pacific.
Community members will be welcomed by Greg Lucas, California State Librarian. Josh Tickell will be joined in conversation by Stan Wang of OC Public Libraries and Stefanie Ulate of Monrovia Public Library. Chat will be moderated by Armando Rivera of San Leandro Public Library and Elaine Tai of Burlingame Public Library.
Registration is now open. California community members participating in Book to Action initiatives will be given first priority to register. Check to see if your local library is participating in Book to Action 2021: Sustainability. Please note: This is a LIVE event with limited seating. After registering, you will receive an email confirmation where you can manage your registration.
