We are excited to announce the Book to Action 2021 team. Together, we are 110 participating library locations, 137 participating library staff members, 36 unique Book to Action initiatives, and 35 California library jurisdictions! Book to Action 2021 initiatives tackle important issues in the community and encourage reading, community discussion, and action. The Big 3 themes that libraries will be focusing on in 2021 are equity, sustainability and health. The Book to Action statewide events and case studies will be shared with libraries across California throughout fiscal year 2020 – 2021. Please join California Center for the Book, California Library Association, and the California State Library in welcoming the libraries below to this community engagement initiative!
