2020 Rural Libraries Tour Welcome!

We are proud to partner with Poets & Writers, the nation’s largest nonprofit organization serving creative writers, to present poetry and writing workshops on the Rural Libraries Tour. There was very strong interest in the Rural Libraries Tour this year, but after difficult decisions, we are happy to announce the 14 participating libraries! From January – June 2020, writers Olga Garcia Echeverria, Susan Wooldridge, Tim Z Hernandez, and Marisol Baca will work in collaboration with the coordinating librarians, local community partners, Poets and Writers, and California Center for the Book to engage adults and intergenerational groups with free writing workshops. Please join us in welcoming the libraries, local coordinators and writers to the Rural Libraries Tour 2020!
