The Nature Fix Book to Action at OCPL

Brea Library is participating in the Book to Action program and collaborating with La Habra Library, OC Parks, and Brea’s Curtis Theater.  The selection of The Nature Fix: Why Nature Makes us Happier, Healthier, and More Creative by Florence Williams was inspired by California Library Association’s partnership with the “Stand for the Redwoods Campaign” in 2018. The project will promote love and appreciation of the outdoors and how spending time outside is important to one’s own benefit. A service project will be conducted at Carbon Canyon Regional Park, an Orange County Park that is known for its redwood grove. This park is in the city of Brea, La Habra’s neighboring city.

The Book to Action series of events are listed below. Thank you to Sofia Araya and the team at Orange County Public Libraries!
