Visions of Warriors Added to Community Conversations with Veterans

We are thrilled to include Visions of Warriors in our programming options for Californians: Community Conversations with Veterans. Participating libraries will now receive the DVD, library viewing license, discussion guide, and press kit. Ming Lai, the Producer/Writer/Editor/Director of Visions of Warriors will be joining us for the welcome webinar in early December 2018!

In Visions of Warriors, four veterans from the Vietnam War era to the Iraq War participate in the groundbreaking Veteran Photo Recovery Project at the VA Menlo Park and use innovative photography therapy to treat their mental illness.

This programming option and resource is included in addition to the bookshelf of veterans-related titles ($500 value) and $500 in programming funds. Ming is LA-based and may be available for library programming. The list of proposed titles, programming inspiration, and possible partners are covered in the working Toolkit. Your input is welcome!
