How’s your Adult Services programming budget looking? Yeah, we thought so. Historically, Adult Services hasn’t received the attention it deserves, although adults are the largest contingent of the patron base. The time has come to harness the creativity of AS librarians and staff, and share ideas with like-minded people.
How can you help? Come present at the first AS symposium in Torrance on May 10, 2017. California Center for the Book is presenting the symposium in collaboration with CLA’s Adult Services Interest Group as part of Spring Fling. We are focusing on how to present programs at little to no cost (aside from staff time, of course) and examining best practices to achieve this in a dynamic and interactive way.
If you’ve put on successful programs for your adults on the cheap, we want to hear all about it. Adults are people, too. Please submit your proposals by March 22, 2017 at https://goo.gl/forms/isEA9KyDcYVTLih13.
